Yates House Studios was founded in the spring of 2003. Its founder, Daniel A. Berube, wishes to use the institutional advantages of a studio as a way to promote his own films, as well as the films of other filmmakers with like-minded working principles. The first project undertaken by the studio was a feature-length narrative shot on DV and entitled Suicide City.
Although we are interested in working with other filmmakers, Yates House Studios is a small organization which intends to remain as such; we will therefore only commit to a limited number of projects per year. A variety of film and video projects will be considered, including narrative, experimental, and documentary pieces. Anyone interested in submitting project proposals, assisting with projects already in development, or seeking our resources for other endeavors should contact us.
